X-REALITY FOR MARKETING: Houston, we have A PROBLEM


Hi, my name’s Maria I’m head of business development at WeAR studio Let’s start from the very beginning. When I just joined this industry I had no idea of what’s going on augmented or virtual reality. Even though I have been within the IT industry for five years and I wouldn’t say that it’s not that I didn’t look into it I just never had enough information on my Facebook or in any news and media that I’m reading This is a very interesting topic because ever since then I started talking to some of people that I know and they also tell me like yeah augmented reality is interesting. We would definitely like take a look into that We would even try to explore some of the projects within our premises, but we’re not really sure What are the capabilities of the technology? We’re not really sure what’s possible within it. So you know what? We saw that as an opportunity we thought that as an open door to spread the world and actually bring this closer to the creatives, to the heads of businesses Understanding such interest I have been talking to a couple of marketing agencies helping them promote the technology to their clients How this works for us is we’re working with them on the ideation. So we’re sitting together trying to understand What are the campaign’s that they want to install into their marketing strategy? And then we’re coming up with some of the ideas of what could be the use cases to actually implement either augmented or virtual reality. Some of those have been the event marketers so we have been talking about How can you bring to life the stands of their customers, of their VIP clients of the exhibitors that are going to participate in their events We have been talking to some of the brand managers on how can you implement augmented reality into their viral experiences into the experiential marketing. Some of the brands have been talking about the storytelling for a while now. X-reality is actually giving you an opportunity to offer StoryLiving to your customers and this is a brand new level of interactions with your clients, customers, users- anyone you want to give a little bit more emotions ,anyone you want to anyone you want to connect with anyone you want to bring into your life and tell the story or let them live it The technology, the hardware is already there There are so many ideas that could be brought to life but people are still not on this, you know They’re not taking this next step They’re not there yet to understand how to implement it into their strategy And that’s one of the biggest problems that we’re facing
