I’m inking a collagraph plate I was working on this week. I was working with different cardboards, white glue, plaster and even acrylic. Now I am trying to cover… all the holes with ink. All white spots. if you don’t put ink inside the holes if you don’t put ink inside the holes This is not going to work. That’s it Now… Let’s going to use fabric. This fabric is going to allow the ink goes deeper into the holes I don’t going to use this any more. Alright, I think we can start with tissue paper. We continue cleaning our plate. it’s not moving too much, right? let’s me clean up this part… first, because I think it si going to be problematic. There is sandpaper over there. It’s kind of hard It’s rough I think I’m going to lose my fingerprints here. It looks clean. I can’t see any white spots. Ok, let finish with this part and them I’m going to take care about the rest. I feel the ink here is quite dry. usually gives me some time but…I don’t know let’s see. You see, it’s not . sliding any centimeter It’s quite clean here I don’t want to just overclean to much. I’m almost there. Cleaning custom. Leaving the last details ready. Alright. Let’s do this. We put the plate on the press. We try to keep it in the center. I washed my hands to manipulate the printing paper. I’ll dry right now the printing paper a little. just a little bit because… we need it… wet, right? Let’s see. We try to put the paper on the plate as centered as we can. Ready? Printing I think the pressure is not enough But, let’s see This is what we have… in the plate so far. I feel is quite good so far I’ll work, I’ll continue working in the plate That is for now… I feel is a good… looks pretty good. I really like this area right here. This are right here looks awesome. This area I really like the bricks over there. I have to continue I really like that, probably I have to put some white here and maybe here in the background over there. On the first panel. This looks pretty awesome right here, the arch Alright, that is done.
