Introduction to Portrait Professional

this video shows you how to improve portraits quickly and easily using portrait professional load a picture choose male or female so it knows what to do to the face to make it more attractive you need to mark these five points on the face as I am doing now now you can drag the white squares to match up the blue outline with the face the important thing here is that you shouldn't touch the points if they are in roughly the right place already for instance you only need to move one point on the eye the iris is the only thing here that needs some accuracy now do the same on the other eye now choose if the mouth is open or closed the mouth needs a bit more accuracy finally the outline only needs to roughly match the face shape because it knows where the different parts of the face are it can use its knowledge of human beauty it's automatically make the face look as good as possible this is the default result but you can tweak it as much as you like using the sliders on the right for instance the master face slider on the face sculpt controls allows you to tweak the shape of the whole face at once when any slider is on zero it has no effect for instance the face shape doesn't change like this you can correct specific faults with lower sliders for example the eyes not being level can be corrected using the eyes slider the skin sliders and spot removal controls determine how much to improve the skin even with the skin this blemish free all the skin detail can still be seen even with the skin stylist on 0 the spot remover still removes acne if there are any skin imperfections that the software hasn't automatically removed you can clear them up with the touch-up brush this demo has covered just a tiny part of the functionality of portrait professional to find out about other features please take a look at the other videos
