How To Draw A Fairy Wand

hey our friends today we're gonna draw a fairy watch yeah for this lesson you're gonna need a pencil we usually just use markers but we're gonna use this to draw guidelines first for the star we're also gonna use a marker some paper and something to color it alright you can pause the video right now if you need to gather up your art supplies you're ready to start yeah we're first gonna use our pencil for the guidelines and we're gonna draw our star first we're going to turn our paper diagonals so that we can draw our wand diagonal on our paper so we're going to start up here in the corner and we're going to draw an a shape Hey so we're just going to draw an upside-down V yeah we're pressing lightly so that we can erase the lines when we're done that's okay then up here we're going to draw a line that goes straight across and to finish the a but we're going past the a upside-down V and then cross for the letter A now we're going to connect this edge right here I'm going to draw these little lines longer down here so it matches yours so now we're going to connect this line to the right side yeah then we're going to connect the other side also there's a simple way to draw a star is that really cool yeah now we're going to switch to our marker and we're going to draw around all of the guidelines but we want to make sure that we don't draw on the center so we're just going to go around the outside like this and we'll also fast forward this part so if you need extra time you guys at home can pause the video when you're all done outlining your star let's switch to our eraser and we're going to use this to erase the guidelines in the middle of our star what should we draw next Headley handle the handle let's switch back to our markers and we're going to we're going to turn our paper diagonal again and we can draw a straight line down towards our body so I like turning the paper or diagonal like this so that I can draw a straight line it's easier without a ruler if you're pulling it towards your body then we're going to draw another one right next to it like that and then down at the bottom let's connect those two lines yeah good job Hadley and we can leave it like this but let's add one more detail let's add streamers now I'm gonna draw a wavy line coming down and then we can also draw another one right next to it that matches and then down at the bottom let's connect those two lines also now this next part let's fast forward again but let's draw a couple more streamers and we can draw them a little shorter or even longer you ready fast forward yeah good job Hadley I love your little fairy one now we're not completely done because we still need to do what come on yeah it's gonna look so much better all colored in this part we're gonna fast forward one more time but at the end you guys composite if you want to match the same coloring but I think you should use your own creativity and color your wands any color you want you're ready fast-forward yeah have a great job one card in your wand I love how it turned out we did this multicolor where it blends from pink purple blue and then back to pink we also added a funny face at the at the top and yours is my favorite you guys can pause the video right now to match the same coloring or color your fairy wands any color you want we could even do silver and gold polka dots yeah we did we hope you had a lot of fun and we'll see you later our friends come on

  1. Since I’m a girl, I absolutely loved drawing and coloring the fairy wand! 😊 I used to believe in fairies when I was little and I still kind of do.
