‘God’s Plan’: Drake Is Spotify’s Most-Streamed Artist of the Decade | Billboard News

annual “Wrapped” data insights highlighting the most-streamed artists of the year and the decade. And based on more than 248 million users’ listening habits across the globe, Drake took the prize as the most-streamed artist of the 2010’s, topping 28 billion total streams over the past 10 years. He was followed on the list by Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, Ariana Grande, and Eminem, respectively. Sheeran topped the decade’s most-streamed song rankings
with “Shape of You”, which wrapped up over 2.3
billion total streams, followed by Drake’s “One Dance”
featuring Kyla and WizKid, Post’s “rockstar” featuring 21 Savage, The Chainsmokers’
“Closer” featuring Halsey, and Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”. ♪ Place your hand on my beating heart ♪ ♪ Thinking out loud ♪ In terms of 2019, Post
is officially the year’s most streamed artist on Spotify with more than 6.5 billion streams, followed by Billie Eilish, with Ariana, Sheeran and Bad Bunny rounding off the top five. And Shawn Mendes nabbed
the top spot on the list of the year’s most-streamed tracks with his Camilla Cabello duet “Señorita”, with more than one billion streams, followed by Billie’s “bad guy”, Post and Swae Lee’s “Sunflower”, Ariana’s “7 Rings”, and Lil Nas X’s
record-breaking Hot 100 single, “Old Town Road – Remix”
