  13. You sir, again, are a terrific instructor. I had to get up and running with Angular 4 incredibly fast at my job and you helped me achieve my goal. Keep up the great work.

  14. After searching the entire youtube for a nice basic-to-expert tutorial I found this and absolutely loved it! I bought it without thinking twice, definetly worth your money.

  15. Hi. This is a question about angular 4. I have an SPA that has several components e.g. home component, about us component, etc, that i can navigate to via routing. The home component has a revolution slider in it. Whenever i switch via routing from home component to another component and go back to the home component, the revolution slider jquery/ javascript never fires and i cant see the slider anymore. But when i do a page refresh, the slider shows again. I have been on a long web journey trying to get a solution to this, but it seems strange to me that i cant seem to pinpoint anything that works! I wonder if am the one not doing something simple right! My question is, How do i ensure the component javascript always fires when a component is reloaded via routing? Thanks.

  16. sir it would be helpful for me if u ma a big rest api in laravel, authentication in laravel passport and its frontend in angular(im a trainee in a close rest api developing company)

  17. That's how should look app.module.ts:
    import { BrowserModule } from '@angular/platform-browser';
    import { NgModule } from '@angular/core';
    import { FormsModule } from '@angular/forms';

    import { AppComponent } from './app.component';

    @NgModule({
    declarations: [
    AppComponent
    ],
    imports: [
    BrowserModule,
    FormsModule
    ],
    providers: [],
    bootstrap: [AppComponent]
    })
    export class AppModule { }

  18. in single page application I need navy bar only for particular component and I don't want navy bar in some component so how to hide the navy bar in this situation??????

    Go ahead

  20. So far I love your video and teaching style. I am only a very part time developer expanding into the web. I am not sure I want the whole enchilada , so to speak. I am sure type script is the way to go as is the ng cli but I kinda like the simple approach. Maybe the simple approach was Angular 2. I'll probably stick with this video, I have not finished it and I think your Udemy course should be worth it as well. I just don't like a lot of hidden steps in the source code. I bought the book , "node.js , MongoDB, and Angular Web Development 2nd Edition" and put it down pretty fast when it jumped into all these extra things like typescript. I program daily in Java so I love OO. Anyways thanks again and rock on !

  21. Hi, I followed your instructions regarding Bootstrap to the letter, yet bootstrap is not showing in the head? Do I need to import it in the src css folder also? Or also npm install jQuery? I was going to purchase the course but have ran in to a few problems already. NgModel wouldn't work also tried importing forms but still gave me errors.

  22. Awesome content. I'm trying to understand Angular to a point where I can jump from the old Jquery to a more up to date technology that is reusable as this one. I'm not saying Jquery is bad, but understanding this is a whole new challenge.

  23. Unfortunately, bootstrap installation does not work for me and I am not sure where to go from here. I Googled it, of course, but the replies to this problem are extremely elaborate and varied – I have no idea whether any of them are correct.

  24. This was a great tutorial. So well explained and easy to follow. You're my favorite teacher! I just purchased both your React and Angular tutorials on Udemy! Thanks Max!

  25. i'm trying to follow this. and i'm getting an error " [ts] can not find module "

    import { ServerComponent } from './server/server.component';
    [ts] can not find module ./server/server.component'. plz help out

  26. Why don't you have NgModule in your imports array? You have all others viz. BrowserModule, FormsModule and HttpModule, but not NgModule. At that that's the case till 51:24 . Any reason for that?

  27. hi iam getting this error while creating a component
    C:UsersAB50597Desktopangularmy-first-app>ng generate component servers
    Unexpected token / in JSON at position 575

  28. As this loads on runtime. I believe angular isn't SEO friendly. If someone can shed some light on it. Thank You. 🙂

  29. I'm working through this course on Udemy, and would highly recommend it. Maximilian is a fantastic instructor and brings detailed knowledge, clear examples, and a positive attitude to learning. I come from the AngularJS (1.x) world, so this course was perfect for helping me convert over to Angular 2-6.

  30. I am going through this video to prepare for an interview … after 2 hours realized that its just of 2 hours of the 16 hours video, should have not skipped first 5 mins of the video 😀

  31. Hey! Great course. I really enjoy watching your videos. Could you tell me the packages you use? For the colors and the terminal, especially. Thank you!

  32. Hey ,

    I am using lazy loading in my angular project but i can't see any differnce in the bundle size. This is same as it was.

  33. As good as this tutorial, the author didn't give options to easy learning. I followed the course from beginning and got lost with the first example. The [(NgModel)] = "name" didn't work without including "import { FormsModule, ReactiveFormsModule } from '@angular/forms'; " in app.module. It took me a day or two to figure it out. I had to search everywhere on the net for how

  34. This was, by far, the best introductory tutorial for angular that I've come across. Everything explained clearly and laid out exactly as a beginner needs. Thanks for providing these lessons.

  35. This course is wonderful. Thank you, one thing I noticed though is that in Angular 6 the .angular-cli.json was renamed to angular.json.

  36. Hi,

    Can you explain how to maintain angular 2 or 4 version. I start using angular it shows version as angular6. How I can you use older version. Is it possible. Tell me the steps.

    Thanks.

  37. Ist es voteilhaft für einen Angular-Kurs, den Sie ja auf Udemy anbieten, viele JavaScript Kenntnisses zu haben oder reichen die Basics?

  38. If you want to be a masterclass of anything just go through the courses of maximillian. His style is to make you boss of what you are learning not just going through a quick overview.

  41. If you go to Udemy now and buy this course.
    WIthout the promocode, it's cheaper.
    With the promo code it's more expensive.

  42. Hey Max, who ever teaches you????
    Oh my! Oh my! You ever amaze me with your ability to dispatch knowledge so easily, so well!! Well done Max! Well done!!

    I'll keep buying your material whenever I can and I'll keep skipping not a single advert on your YouTube channel. Great Sir!

  43. Hi. I purchased your Complete Guide To Angular Course On Udemy. I built an angular application. Now i want to place ads on it. But its being rejected by google adsense due to no content. How can i place ads on angular application? Can you help me out? My angular application is here. http://cricketexchange.in

  44. Need experts opinion!!
    UI versioning is something that I want to introduce. Considering we have a component designed for V1. Later modified (change could be minor or major one) and we release in updated new version V2 of my component.
    Now, my app is at Version V2, but with this V2 deployed, dynamically I need to support V1 (user can switch between V1 and V2).
    Version deployed is V2 but need to support V1 as well. But between V1 and V2 my components were modified. Is there a convenient way to design the components to support different versions of UI?

  45. not even 20 minutes in and this tutorial is broken! sigh Impossible to learn anything if the learning material doesn't work, was considering buying the complete udemy course but now that seems like a bad idea.

  46. 15:00 , the code here needs some changes if your're using newer versions of node and angular
    You may have to import FormsModule in app.module.

    import { FormsModule } from '@angular/forms';
    .
    .
    @NgModule({

    imports: [

    FormsModule

    ]

  47. Video needs an annotation around 16.30 –> the code in app.module.ts needs to be changed to the following for the binding to work:

    import { BrowserModule } from '@angular/platform-browser';

    import { FormsModule, ReactiveFormsModule } from '@angular/forms';

    import { NgModule } from '@angular/core';

    import { AppRoutingModule } from './app-routing.module';

    import { AppComponent } from './app.component';

    @NgModule({

    declarations: [

    AppComponent

    ],

    imports: [

    FormsModule,

    ReactiveFormsModule ,

    BrowserModule,

    AppRoutingModule

    ],

    providers: [],

    bootstrap: [AppComponent]

    })

    export class AppModule { }

  48. Hi I'm a beginner and I have a little problem when I add "ngModel" on my input as on the video in the 16th minute. The page becomes white and nothing is displayed. As a result, the Binding does not work. Do you have a solution to this problem?
